Lovebot – Robotics
In a team of 5, we used the ROS (Robot Operating System) to develop a lovebot. Lovebot is a robot designed for a dating convention to take requests from participants for gifts to purchase to deliver to others, alongside a message. There were several technologies used in this project such as Python, QR detection to identify people, text-to-speech for communication, web development for purchasing gifts, localisation & navigation.
