Bloom – IoT Smart Pot

In a team of 5, we designed an IoT solution for growing plants using an Arduino. Bloom is a smart pot which uses various sensors to alert users through a mobile application about what the plant requires (e.g. more water, more sunlight). This project used many HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) concepts such as creating persona’s, developing prototypes and conducting interviews. We also created UML diagrams, designed promotional content (e.g. poster & advert) and followed the software development cycle.
